Our Story – Saheli “My Best Friend”
Saheli – My Best Friend is more than just a jewelry brand. It is a story of passion, creativity, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.
Founded by Shazia Shaikh, a jewelry designer, entrepreneur, and proud mother, Saheli began its journey in 2007 as a home-based jewelry design initiative. With dedication and growing customer love, the brand officially received commercial registration in 2010 and has since become a well-known name for ethnic Indian jewelry in Doha, Qatar.
Shazia’s vision has always been to design jewelry that is inspiring, elegant, and meaningful. Her creations combine traditional heritage with modern style, creating pieces that celebrate a woman’s strength, grace, and individuality.

Shazia Shaikh is not only a designer but also an entrepreneur who believes that creativity and determination can transform dreams into reality.
As a mother of three children, balancing family life and entrepreneurship has been both challenging and rewarding. Her biggest strength has always been the unwavering support of her husband and children, who continue to inspire her journey.
Shazia also contributes to the community as the Assistant General Secretary of the Indian Women’s Association, Doha, Qatar, supporting initiatives that empower women and encourage their growth.
